Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated August 9, 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how Sahodaya International Company ("Impactex," "we," "us") handles subscription cancellations, downgrades, and payment disputes for Impactex. It forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service.

1. Free Plan & Free Trial

The Free plan requires no payment and has no cancellation process — you can stop using it, or delete your account, at any time.

Paid plans (Pro, Max) may be offered with a 14-day free trial. Starting a trial does not require a payment card. Because no payment method is collected, there is nothing to cancel to avoid a charge — if you take no action, your account simply reverts to the Free plan's limits and features automatically when the trial ends. You are never silently charged at the end of a trial.

2. Our Refund Policy: No Refunds, Except as Required by Law

Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused features, or unused time remaining in a monthly or annual term, except where a refund is required by applicable law (for example, the exceptions in Section 5 below).

This is a standard model for subscription software: you are billed for access to the Services for the billing period you selected, and you can cancel auto-renewal at any time to stop future charges — see Section 3.

3. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your paid subscription at any time by:

  • Going to your account settings inside the Impactex platform and cancelling your subscription; or
  • Emailing [email protected] with your account email and a cancellation request.

Cancelling stops future auto-renewal charges. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access to your paid plan's features until then, after which your account automatically moves to the Free plan. In line with Section 2, we do not refund the unused portion of the period you already paid for.

4. Plan Downgrades & Upgrades

Upgrading to a higher plan takes effect immediately, and you'll be charged the new plan's price (pro-rated or in full, as shown at checkout) at the time of upgrade. Downgrading to a lower paid plan or to Free takes effect at the end of your current billing period, consistent with cancellation in Section 3 — no refund is issued for the difference for the period already paid.

5. Failed, Duplicate & Erroneous Charges

Regardless of our general no-refund policy above, you are entitled to a refund where required by law or by the rules of our payment aggregator, Razorpay, including:

  • A payment that failed or did not complete but was nonetheless debited from your account;
  • A duplicate charge for the same billing period caused by a technical error;
  • Any other erroneous charge not authorized by you.

To request a review, email [email protected] with your transaction ID/receipt and a description of the issue. We investigate and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days, consistent with RBI guidance for payment aggregators, though your bank or card network may take additional time to reflect the credit. Any payment gateway or MDR transaction fee retained by Razorpay on the original charge is not refundable by us where Razorpay itself does not return it.

6. Auto-Renewal & Pre-Debit Notice

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle using your saved, tokenized payment method until you cancel. Where a charge is collected via an e-mandate/auto-debit arrangement, we (or Razorpay on our behalf) provide advance notice before each renewal charge in accordance with RBI's e-mandate framework, and you can cancel before that date to avoid the renewal — see Section 3.

7. Subscription Cancellation vs. Account Deletion

Cancelling your subscription only stops future billing — your account, documents, and data remain intact on the Free plan. If you want your account and personal data deleted entirely, that is a separate action governed by our Privacy Policy (see "How Long Do We Keep Your Information?" and "What Are Your Privacy Rights?"); email [email protected] to request account deletion.

8. Payment Processing & Card Data

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Card and other payment instrument data is captured, tokenized, and stored directly by Razorpay — Impactex never receives or stores your full card number, CVV, or UPI PIN. As a merchant that only ever handles tokenized references (never raw card data), Impactex completes Razorpay's SAQ-A self-assessment questionnaire for PCI DSS compliance, the reduced-scope questionnaire applicable to merchants who fully outsource cardholder data handling to a compliant processor.

9. Not a Marketplace or Escrow Service

Impactex only bills you for your own subscription to the Services. We do not collect, hold, or transfer payments between you and your buyers or sellers, and we are not an escrow, nodal, or payment intermediary for the trade transactions you document on the platform. This policy applies solely to your Impactex subscription fees.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or by a notice on our platform, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
